Regional Sales Manager
Industry leader and innovative manufacturer of construction chemicals (epoxies, urethanes and other polymers) is seeking professionals to undertake regional and territorial sales and marketing responsibilities. The company is on track for record setting growth and seeks to fill the need for 6 (six) strategically positioned Regional Sales Managers. The six regions are as follows:
- West - stationed in or near Salt Lake City, UT
- Southwest - stationed in or near Austin, TX
- Midwest - stationed in or near Minneapolis, MN
- Ohio Valley - stationed in or near Columbus, OH
- Southeast - stationed in or near Atlanta, GA
- Northeast - stationed in or near Hartford, CT
Region will include multiple states. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Establishing and maintaining position with State Department of Transportation and other governmental agencies (cities, counties etc) engaged in civil, highway, public works and related engineering and construction activities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with consulting engineers and contractors related to the construction activities within region
- Create a sales force for future growth within the region
- Marketing activities will include:
- Specification writing
- Technical presentations and seminars
- Budget estimations
- Forecasting
- CRM
- Technical support
- Local and national trade show/conference participation
- Travel is extensive and necessary
- Knowledge of chemistry and construction industry is a definite plus.
Aggressive compensation packages commensurate with educational background and experience are available. Compensation includes salary, commission and bonuses. Benefits include medical, dental, LTD, life insurance and a retirement plan.
POLY-CARB, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dow Chemical Company is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. All initial training will be conducted at its headquarters before Regional Sales Managers return to their regions to lead proactive and aggressive marketing campaigns.
