Washington, D.C., November 16, 2004 – On September 30, 2004, the Department of Justice (DOJ) issued a “notice of proposed rulemaking” regarding its process to issue rules on the enforcement of the revised ADAAG/ABAAG published in July by the Access Board. WEST VIRGINIA’s BELPRE BRIDGE GETS ‘LEVELED’ BY POLY-CARB, INC.
The Belpre bridge, approximately 140,000 square feet over the Ohio River, has been a public nuisance due to its riding surface. Concrete leveling between the deck joints has left the area around more than 20 joints elevated above the rest of the driving surface.
